Abstract: This article criticizes several viewpoints for contrasting Ho Chi Minh’s thought with Marxism-Leninism, which aim to negate Marxism- Leninism and the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Viet Nam at heart. With the purpose of exposing the deceptions, the author reaffirms the revolutionary and scientific nature of Ho Chi Minh Thought and proposes solutions to defeat all plots and deceptions of hostile forces aiming to distort and oppose Ho Chi Minh Thought.

During the process of leading the revolution, the Communist Party of Vietnam has determined that the Party's ideological building is the key issue that directly relates to the survival of the Party. The good implementation of the Party's ideological building not only improves the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and party members but also well exercises the principle of democratic centralism and helps unify the will and actions in each party organization. During the 4.0 industrial revolution, hostile forces use evil-minded conspiracies to oppose the Party's leadership role and propagate against the Party's ideological foundation. Therefore, beside launching movements throughout the Party and promoting roles and responsibilities of Party members, it is essential to defend and promote Party's ideology to effectively fight against wrong and hostile views, especially in cyberspace.
