National independence and socialism - an inevitable and objective choice of the Vietnamese revolution
Abstract: In 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam was founded with the goal of closely linking national independence and socialism. Vietnamese people desperately aspired for national unity and independence, so the task of building socialism was set forth and gradually realized during the struggle for national liberation from 1930 to 1975. Since 1975, the Party has led the country in carrying out two strategic tasks: building socialism and firmly defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. The reality of the Vietnamese revolution has demonstrated that the steadfast pursuit of national independence and socialism is the inevitable and objective choice of history.
