Abstract: National governance is a term introduced by the Communist Party of Vietnam for the first time in the Documents of the Party Congress and the Economic-Social Development Strategy for the period 2021-2030. Building and perfecting a modern, efficient national governance system in Vietnam is the process of establishing and improving the system of coordination and democratic interaction among state entities, businesses, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations. The State plays a leading role in this process, based on the legal framework under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. It involves formulating and implementing policies and laws, efficiently mobilizing and utilizing national resources, operating developmental and social management, ensuring the harmony of rights and interests of various entities, maintaining stability, and promoting societal development towards the goal of prosperous people, strong country, democracy, equity, and civilization.
