However, they can also involve sensitive issues concerning politics, ethics, religion, aesthetics cleverly embedded beneath the layers of language. Editing and refining literary manuscripts play a significant role in disseminating and guiding cultural and ideological work, contributing to protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, and preventing hostile viewpoints.
