Changes in Political and Social Life of H’mong with Protestant in the Northern Mountainous Region

The Protestant emerged into H’mong communities in northern mountainous provinces during 1980s and has influenced all aspects of social life including culture, economy, politics, society and security, etc. In addition to positive impact, the Protestant presents negative effect on H’mong communities. It is important to identify the positive and negative changes in political and social life of H’mong with Protestant in order to propose the recommendations and solutions to preserve traditional cultural values and ensure the religious freedom of H’mong people in northern mountainous provinces.
