Marxism and Leninism about the development of the Communist Party is not only very profound and meaningful with regards to theory and methodology but also highly practical and realistic to the communist parties in the world. In the current situation, taking the advantage of social media, hostile forces spread wrong views and distort Marxism and Leninism about building communist party with the view to rule out the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam. Therefore, it is urgent for the cadres, party members and patriotic people to identify and criticize the wrong views of the hostile forces, hinder their attack in social media and to protect Marxism and Leninism.

Abstract: The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has been having strong and deep effects on all fields of social life, including higher education in general and political theory education in particular. In the development trend of the era, universities in Vietnam are comprehensively renovating and implementing online training method to meet the needs of developing high-quality human resources in the digital era. Online training is considered an optimal choice in the current context. The article mentions the advantages and disadvantages when applying the online training method in political theory subjects to students of the universities in Vietnam and proposes some basic solutions to improve the quality of political theory education at universities in Vietnam in the context of the current Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract: In the current context, the streamlining of the political system’s organizational apparatus is a sound and objectively necessary policy. However, hostile forces have continuously spread blatant distortions about these revolutionary measures of the Party which embody the convergence of “the Party’s will and the people’s heart” in this new stage of national development, a stage affirming Vietnam’s position and aspiration for advancement in the era of national rise. Therefore, every cadre, Party member, and citizen must remain alert to analyze and identify right from wrong, in order to build and strengthen trust in the Party’s leadership, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of this particularly important policy.

The cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland has always faced the threat of “peaceful evolution” in ideology - a strategy carried out by hostile forces to undermine the theoretical foundation and leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The deeper objective is to incite “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” within the Party and society. Therefore, the political steadfastness and the ability of cadres and Party members to “self- protect” are vital to the revolutionary cause. This article focuses on identifying the manifestations of ideological “peaceful evolution” in the current period, while clarifying the role and proposing solutions for cadres and Party members to proactively strengthen their “self-protection”, thereby safeguarding the ideological front against new plots and malicious tactics.

Solutions for Firmly Safeguarding the Ideological Foundation of the Communist Party in the Digital Era in Vietnam Today
Abstract: In the context of the digital era marked by the rapid development of social media, the internet, and artificial intelligence, the task of safeguarding the ideological foundation of the Communist Party faces both favorable opportunities and serious challenges. In reality, there have been significant advancements in building digital portals and media platforms managed by the Party and the State, which have contributed to strengthening public trust and protecting the Party’s ideological orientation in cyberspace. However, hostile forces continue to exploit online spaces to spread false and distorted information, while the limited awareness of some officials, Party members, and young people remains a major difficulty in this effort. Based on that reality, this article proposes key solutions including enhancing the capacity for digital ideological dissemination, building a digitally competent team of propaganda and education officers, strengthening the legal and technological foundation, promoting the participation of the entire society—especially the youth—and improving coordination mechanisms among forces engaged in ideological struggle. These solutions aim to firmly safeguard the ideological foundation of the Party in the digital age, thereby meeting the requirements for the country’s sustainable development.
