Ho Chi Minh’s thought about eradicating hunger, poverty and maintaining social security and the application of the Party and State today
The idea about social security was proposed by President Ho Chi Minh from the very beginning of the Government of the Vietnam Democratic Republic in 1945. The view of hunger and poverty as an “enemy”, who must be “battled” and “eradicated” to bring the prosperous, happy and equal life for people, shows the profound philosophy of humanism in Ho Chi Minh’s thought. Understanding Ho Chi Minh’s thought about eradicating hunger, poverty and realizing social security in economic development is one of the standards to evaluate social policies and the humane nature of the socialist institution that Vietnam is building.

Role of press and public opinion in building people’s trust in the fight against corruption and negativity in Vietnam today
Abstract: In the fight against corruption and negativity, the press and public opinion play a special role. It contributes to detecting and fighting against corruption and negativity; reflecting, advising, proposing and recommending to handle and supervise the implementation of functional agencies. It also propagates, encourages and mobilizes the strength of all people to participate in the fight against corruption, thereby building people's faith in the Party's leadership and the regime’s superiority. The article focuses on clarifying the relationship and role of the press and public opinion in building people's trust as well as proposes solutions to promote this role in the current anti-corruption activities of our country.
Abstract: Right from its birth, the Communist Party of Vietnam has set the right revolutionary goals, guidelines and strategies, meeting the requirements of national history and the times, so the Communist Party of Vietnam is the only political party in power, leading the Vietnamese revolution. This role is regulated by the relationship of political forces in Vietnam, selected by history, trusted by the people, conferred by the constitution, confirmed by leadership capacity and effectiveness.
Abstract: Today, hostile forces are daily and hourly looking for ways to damage the revolutionary cause, to propagandize slanderous statements against our Party and State. They target grassroots areas, especially in remote and isolated areas where many ethnic minorities live, especially in Central Highlands. Therefore, in order to fight against the plots of hostile forces, ethnic minorities must know how to identify them and analyze distorted claims. To do so, they need good political awareness. They must be educated, trained to raise political awareness, sharpen their awareness and ideology so as to create immunity against the plots of hostile forces, contributing to political stability and social stability.
Abstract: In the field of policy analysis, choosing the optimal policy is a key activity. Policymakers are always under pressure to choose reasonable solutions to existing social problems. Currently, there are many approaches to this activity, among which cost-benefit analysis is one of the prominent ones. Cost benefit analysis uses economic arguments to explain why one policy option is better than another. The article contributes to clarifying the contents related to the characteristics, roles, processes, advantages and disadvantages of this method in the field of policy analysis.
Abstract: It is an objective requirement to build and gradually perfect the national governance in Vietnam, meeting the requirements of the country's development in the context of globalization, international integration and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. That process is influenced by many factors which are both internal and external, both objective and subjective. The article focuses on analyzing a number of factors affecting the construction of national governance in Vietnam in the current context.
