The Communist Party of Vietnam has specially important and central role in leading the political system. In the election of representatives to People’s Committee at all levels, the leadership of the Party is clearly seen before, during and after the election. The election of People’s Committee representatives since 1946 has demonstrated the vital leadership of the Party and this is the decisive factor to ensure the success of this important political event. Therefore, it is crucial to improve, innovate the political system, which starts from innovating the Party’s leadership method on the election of representatives to National Assembly and People’s Committee.
