02438348033 Intensifying the Party Leadership on the People’s Committee
In Viet Nam’s political system, Viet Nam Communist Party is both the member and the leader. The Party leads the State and society with political credo, direction and resolution. The Party leads the People’s Committee via the party council of the Committee by supervising the implementation of Party’s direction, State’s regulation and policy. The Party creates the mechanisms and conditions to promote the role, autonomy and creativity of the People’s Committee without taking over its role. This article discusses the role and leadership of the Party on People’s Committee and proposes the solutions to enhance the Party’s leadership.

Marxism and the construction of the economic model of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the current context of globalization
Abstract: China adopts Marxism–Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics since the reform and opening-up, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era since the 18th Party Congress as its guiding ideology. In the current stage of building socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, China continues to implement a socialist-oriented market economy system, reflecting the nature and form of the primary stage of socialism. Within this framework, the public ownership economy plays the leading role, with the state-owned sector as the mainstay, coexisting alongside the non-public sector. This economic foundation, established under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and grounded in Marxism, constitutes the basis for constructing the economic model of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The model, embodied in its “14 adherences”, continues to demonstrate creative adaptations suited to China’s practical conditions in the current context of globalization.

Democracy and human rights are being used as pretexts to incite disorder, disrupt stability, and undermine political and social security, while also attempting to divide national unity. Their ultimate goal is to destabilize the political system, weaken, and eventually overthrow the leadership of the Communist Party, thereby eliminating the socialist regime in Vietnam.

In the Credo for the national building during the transition to socialism (revised and supplemented in 2011), the Communist Party of Vietnam affirmed that the transition to socialism is the inevitable choice of the Vietnamese people, in line with the development trend of the times. The socialism that the Vietnamese people are building is an extremely beautiful social regime with comprehensive values: Prosperous people, a strong country with democracy, equality, civilization, and specific characteristics in economics, politics, culture - society, human beings etc. The characteristics of the Vietnamese socialist model defined in the 2011 Platform have been concretized, supplemented, and perfected in the Party's resolutions and realized in the process of building socialism in Vietnam. Currently, the efforts to innovate, promote national industrialization and modernization require us to deepen our understanding of Vietnam's socialist model to clarify these superior characteristics. This article will clarify one characteristic of Vietnamese socialism, which refers to harmoniously resolving the relationships between personal, collective, and societal interests.
