President Ho Chi Minh Studies, Applies and Develops Sun Yat-sen’s Three Principles of the People in Vietnam’s Historical Context

Though following different school of thought but Ho Chi Minh paid attention to Sun Yat-sen’s Three Principles of the People and found its compatibility to the specific context of Vietnam. From 1911 to 1924, Ho Chi Minh turned His eyes to the three principles of the people and from 1924 to 1927, He really studied into it. From 1927 to 1945, He continued to study, develop and translate suitable ideas into the struggle for national liberation in Vietnam. After 1945, people’s welfare, people’s right and democracy became the “objectives of action” by Ho Chi Minh’s government.
