02438348033 Fundamental requirements for media in the fight against wrong, hostile views in Vietnam
Abstract: In the current context of information explosion, it is difficult to distinguish authentic from fake and disguised news. Taking advantage of this blur, hostile forces intensify the attack to our society to stain the regime, denounce the government, stir public confusion and reduce people’s trust in the political system. Media is an important instrument of the Party and government in leading public opinion, combating wrong, hostile views to protect Party’s ideological foundation and the regime. The author discussed fundamental requirements for media in the fight against wrong, hostile views in Vietnam.

Abstract: Cultural tourism cooperation plays a vital role in the process of building the ASEAN Community, generating not only economic value but also enhancing regional identity and unity. This study analyzes the current state of international and domestic legal frameworks, notably the ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan 2016–2025, the ASEAN Comprehensive Investment Agreement (ACIA), and Vietnam’s Law on Tourism 2017. The study indicates that, although Vietnam has made significant progress in domesticating international commitments and consolidating intersectoral coordination mechanisms through the National Steering Committee for Tourism, a number of obstacles remain, including regulatory overlap, challenges in heritage conservation, and issues concerning community intellectual property rights. Drawing on lessons from neighboring countries such as Thailand and Indonesia’s tourism ecosystem governance model, as well as Singapore’s experience, the article proposes several groups of solutions related to the development of a “framework law,” the digitalization of intersectoral data, and the reform of implementation mechanisms. These recommendations are intended to position Vietnam as an attractive cultural destination and to contribute to the successful realization of the ASEAN Community Vision.

Abstract: In the fight against corruption and negativity, the press and public opinion play a special role. It contributes to detecting and fighting against corruption and negative effects; reflecting, advising, suggesting and recommending to handle and supervise the implementation of functional agencies. It also propagates, encourages and mobilizes the strength of all people to participate in the fight against corruption, thereby building people's faith in the Party's leadership and the regime's superiority. The article focuses on clarifying the relationship and role of the press and public opinion in building people's trust as well as proposes solutions to promote this role in the current anti-corruption activities of our country.

The Communist Party of Vietnam has a “golden history” that was built and developed during the revolutionary process. It expresses the infinite pride and gratitude of the People to the Party, of descendants to ancestors. It is of great significance to clearly identify the distorted claims, then have resolute and effective solutions to protect the Party, State and regime. The article introduces concepts and identifications as well as suggests some solutions to fight for and protect the Party’s history on social media today.
