Abstract: To successfully accomplish the task of “firmly defending the Party’s ideological foundation and effectively countering wrongful and hostile viewpoints,” a comprehensive system of solutions is required, of which a particularly crucial one is promoting the strength of the people. This article focuses on analyzing the role and immense power of the people- the decisive factor in the victory of every revolution, including today’s endeavor to defend the Party’s ideological foundation. It also examines the new historical context and the demands it places on defending the Party’s ideological foundation, thereby proposing solutions to further promote the people’s role and strength in the new situation.

Marxism and the construction of the economic model of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the current context of globalization
Abstract: China adopts Marxism–Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics since the reform and opening-up, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era since the 18th Party Congress as its guiding ideology. In the current stage of building socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, China continues to implement a socialist-oriented market economy system, reflecting the nature and form of the primary stage of socialism. Within this framework, the public ownership economy plays the leading role, with the state-owned sector as the mainstay, coexisting alongside the non-public sector. This economic foundation, established under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and grounded in Marxism, constitutes the basis for constructing the economic model of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The model, embodied in its “14 adherences”, continues to demonstrate creative adaptations suited to China’s practical conditions in the current context of globalization.

Abstract: Karl Marx clearly distinguished socialism - the first stage of communism- from the period of transition from capitalism to socialism. This idea was correctly acknowledged by V.I. Lenin, Ho Chi Minh, and the Communist Party of Vietnam. However, there are still differing interpretations of Marx's ideology. The former Soviet Union considered the country had already entered the socialism while it was actually in the transition period, which was one of the reasons for the theoretical perception leading to the collapse of the socialist system. After more than 35 years of renovation, the Party's path of indirectly implementing the transition period to socialism in Vietnam has become increasingly clear, perfected, and achieved significant success in practice.

Political theory - After “grasping the era with thought”, it can be said that a great revolution in awareness and world transformation has been carried out using Marxism. Marxism is not only a great awareness tool and a complete and close science which puts an end to the randomness and chaos in historical and political conceptions but also the method to transform the world deeply and comprehensively. Nowadays, the sustainable values of Marxism are still asserted, which makes great contributions to mankind by developing awareness about the era, foundation, develop ruling styles, and the characteristics of socialism including the path and method to build real socialism.

The Scientific, Revolutionary, and Humanistic Nature of Marxist-Leninist Philosophy
Abstract: Marxist-Leninist philosophy, founded by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, was successfully actualized and developed by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. It opened a new era in political thought and initiated an era of transition from capitalism to socialism worldwide. Currently, taking advantage of the collapse of the socialist model in the Soviet Union and some Eastern European countries, many reactionary forces have rejected Marxism-Leninism which considered the ideology of the working class and the ideological foundation of Communist Parties in the world including Vietnam. This article clarifies the lasting value of Marxist- Leninist philosophy including its doctrine of unity of scientific, revolutionary, and humanistic values, thereby contributing to protecting the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam. It also outlines the fight against wrong and hostile views against Vietnam.
