On Social Function of the State in Ho Chi Minh’s Thought and its Application in Our Country Today
Ho Chi Minh’s thought, Marxism and Leninism are the guiding compass for our Party and people in the cause for national liberation and socialism construction. In Ho Chi Minh’s thought, social function of the State is generalized and reflects the nature of the socialist state, which is of the people, by the people and for the people. It is the means to gather and promote the power of the people in organizing, building the state and the society, etc. Fully understand His thought, the Party, State and our people have gradually realized the important objectives, which are covered in the social function of the Viet Nam state, including prosperous people; strong, democratic, equal and civilized society. In this article, the author elaborates on this matter.

Abstract: Hồ Chí Minh’s thought on mass mobilization, an integral part of his overall ideology, is not only a theoretical foundation but also a guiding principle for the Communist Party of Vietnam’s mass mobilization work throughout the revolutionary stages over the past 95 years. This has resulted in remarkable achievements and built a glorious tradition. Entering the new era, amid the profound impacts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and globalization, along with major transformations in the economic, cultural, and social spheres, thoroughly understanding and creatively applying Hồ Chí Minh’s thought, while continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of the Party’s mass mobilization work, holds special significance. It contributes to strengthening the close relationship between the Party and the people, advancing national renewal, and realizing the goal of a prosperous and happy nation.

The Revolution’s success is directly associated with President Hồ Chí Minh’s tremendous contributions from finding the revolutionary path, guiding the people, and organizing revolutionary forces, to seizing the right moment for the general uprising to win power and founding the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Abstract: Along with the study, application, and development of Marxist - Leninist ideology and Ho Chi Minh Thought, current practice requires strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, combating, and refuting erroneous and hostile views. Among these erroneous views is the discourse that denies and distorts “Ho Chi Minh is not a thinker, there is no Ho Chi Minh Thought”. This article contributes to the identification and criticism of the discourse that denies and distorts Ho Chi Minh Thought.
