Marxism on comprehensive development of human beings and its implications for Vietnam
Abstract: The theory about comprehensive development of human beings is an integral part of Marxism. Marx studied the nature of human beings by understanding the rules of social development; human beings are not only the subject of production but also the creator of history and they are the development objectives of history. The article analyzes Marx’s theory about comprehensive human development, which is the full development of human activities, needs and capacities; human personality and human relationship. Based on theoretical notion of Marxism, the article proposes solutions for comprehensive development of Vietnamese people in the current context.

Abstract: Nowadays, big data strongly affects all aspects of social life. It profoundly changes the way humans exist daily and hourly. The article makes some predictions about the negative impacts of the data era on socio-political issues such as the risk of data monopoly and digital dictatorship, liberty loss, mass unemployment, personalized discrimination, and biological inequality. These consequences never appeared in previous societies, so there is a need for distinctive solutions and humanity’s unity.

Traditional and modern family values pursued by young adults in the current context (A study of students in Hanoi)
Abstract: On analyzing survey data among 260 student participants related to their perspectives on marriage and family values, this article elucidates the traditional and modern family values that young people support and aspire to in the current context. The research results show that the desire to marry and start a family remains a prevalent trend among students. The majority of students choose to selectively embrace positive traditional values from Vietnamese families while tending to reject outdated values. Furthermore, the younger generation also adopts modern family values that align with the evolving characteristics and trends in society.
