Solutions to improve the self-study capacity for Marx and Lenin political economy for students at the Academy of Journalism and Communication
Self-study plays an important role in improving the teaching and learning quality in the current context. As knowledge provided by school is limited, learners should develop essential skills for lifelong learning. Self-study to enrich the knowledge is the only way for each person to catch up with the development of the society. Political economy is a subject in the field of political theory. The knowledge of Marx and Lenin political economy provides the foundation to formulate the world view, dialectical and material methodology, communism view and socialist ideology for students in higher education institutions in general and for students in the Academy of Journalism and Communication in particular.

In recent years, in Vietnam, the image of children with autism has appeared increasingly often in the media. They are not only portrayed from the “victim” perspective - as disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals in need of protection - but are also represented as “heroes,” individuals of great resilience and talent who have become sources of inspiration for the community. Rich vocabulary will greatly support learners in developing and enhancing other skills more effectively. Due to its significance, techniques to enhance vocabulary for first-year students at the Academy of Journalism and Communication will be discussed in this article with the hope of helping students become more proactive and progressive in learning English.
