Some issues in the quality of online teaching and learning at the Academy of Journalism and Communication
The vigorous development of information technology in the world has created the profound influence in several fields, including education. In our country, distance learning, online teaching and learning have been applied extensively in different levels of education, especially in higher education. At the Academy of Journalism and Communication, online teaching has been implemented on large scale for the first time and obtained some achievements. However, there are certain challenges and difficulties, which need to be handled in order to improve the quality of online teaching, meeting the requirement of national development.

Abstract: It can be affirmed that digital transformation is an inevitable trend in higher education. It not only helps optimize management, reform teaching processes and methods, and enhance the digital competencies of both instructors and learners, but also responds to the evolving needs of students and society. For journalism and communication training institutions in particular, promoting digital transformation must be intensified both in breadth and depth. This article discusses the current state and proposes solutions for digital transformation at journalism and communication higher education institutions in Vietnam, thereby providing an overview of the digital transformation landscape in this field.

Without sufficient vocabulary, learners may struggle to use the grammar structures they have learned to communicate effectively. Rich vocabulary will greatly support learners in developing and enhancing other skills more effectively. Due to its significance, techniques to enhance vocabulary for first-year students at the Academy of Journalism and Communication will be discussed in this article with the hope of helping students become more proactive and progressive in learning English.
