In this article, the author clarifies the importance of educating younger generation about patriotic emulation in Ho Chi Minh’s thought. The educational content, which is suitable to the psychological characteristics and age of the youngsters and the value orientation of the Vietnamese in the new age will help them to understand the goal and meaning of emulation. Emulation is to demonstrate the love for the country and the collective solidarity. It is the source of national strength. It is the task of everyone and every industry and profession. In emulation movement, the leaders need to set the example. Emulation is about fulfilling specific and practical tasks such as learning actively, applying the experiences into reality, sharing experiences in the organization and showing international spirit.

Solutions for Firmly Safeguarding the Ideological Foundation of the Communist Party in the Digital Era in Vietnam Today
Abstract: In the context of the digital era marked by the rapid development of social media, the internet, and artificial intelligence, the task of safeguarding the ideological foundation of the Communist Party faces both favorable opportunities and serious challenges. In reality, there have been significant advancements in building digital portals and media platforms managed by the Party and the State, which have contributed to strengthening public trust and protecting the Party’s ideological orientation in cyberspace. However, hostile forces continue to exploit online spaces to spread false and distorted information, while the limited awareness of some officials, Party members, and young people remains a major difficulty in this effort. Based on that reality, this article proposes key solutions including enhancing the capacity for digital ideological dissemination, building a digitally competent team of propaganda and education officers, strengthening the legal and technological foundation, promoting the participation of the entire society—especially the youth—and improving coordination mechanisms among forces engaged in ideological struggle. These solutions aim to firmly safeguard the ideological foundation of the Party in the digital age, thereby meeting the requirements for the country’s sustainable development.
