Ethical Standards of Cadres and Party Members in Media Organizations in Viet Nam
The press has strong influence on social life, affecting the mindset, thought and morality of the people. Therefore, the party members in media organizations must set an example in shaping their discipline, deserving to be the soldiers in the field of culture and ideology. In the current context, there are symptoms of political decline, lifestyle degrade and professional misconduct among the party members working in journalism. With this in mind, the author analyses the causes of the phenomenon and provides the audience with new perspectives and new signs of moral misconduct and decline among some cadres and party members in media organizations. Based on the media regulation, the author proposes the fundamental ethical standards for the cadres and party members in journalism in order to overcome the limitations and promote the effectiveness of the revolutionary press in the new context.
