Criteria for evaluating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) communication
In the context where sustainable development goals gain increasing attention, corporate social responsibility (CSR) communication has become an essential activity for businesses, raising the need to assess its quality and effectiveness. The key question is: What criteria should be used to scientifically and comprehensively evaluate CSR communication? This article systematizes three main approaches to assessing CSR communication based on implementation strategy, public perception, and practical effectiveness.
Role of higher education institutions in national innovation – international experiences and policy implications for Vietnam
Abstract: This article analyzes the pivotal role of higher education institutions within the national innovation ecosystem. Modern universities are no longer confined to traditional teaching roles, but also serve as nuclei for knowledge creation, technology transfer, and the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation. In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, particularly with the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, the role of higher education has become even more critical. Drawing on successful models from the United States, Germany, Israel, South Korea, Singapore, and China, the article clarifies the functional pillars of higher education in shaping modern knowledge-based economies. Based on this analysis, the study proposes several breakthrough policy recommendations for Vietnam to maximize the potential of its universities, especially in the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolutions No. 57-NQ/TW and No. 71-NQ/TW.

Abstract: Gender equality is one of the key criteria for assessing a society’s development; it is also an indicator of democracy, fairness, and civility in a nation. Therefore, gender equality is not only an important goal for Vietnam to strive toward but also a shared objective for all countries worldwide. Accordingly, in every policy decision, the Party and State of Vietnam have made continuous efforts to ensure and promote gender equality so that the equal rights of men and women are vividly realized in social life.
Digital transformation in higher education: analysis of the current situation and solutions for applying AI in students’ learning activities at Academy of Journalism and Communication
Abstract: Today, digital transformation in higher education has become a strategic priority. However, due to varying conditions, students’ use of artificial intelligence (AI) mainly remains at a basic level of learning activities. At the same time, concerns have been raised about the risks of limiting independent thinking and fostering overreliance on technology. This article analyzes the current situation of using AI in students’ learning activities, based on a survey of 624 students at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, to propose optimal solutions. The results reveal the level of awareness and usage of AI in learning, as well as the benefits of its application. The paper also suggests specific measures to maximize AI’s advantages and promote responsible technology use, thereby advancing a learner-centered and holistic educational model.
Understanding the role of AI in user behavior analytics and content personalization: concepts, benefits and ethical considerations
Content personalization is a deciding factor that shapes modern communication on digital platforms. Organizations, particularly companies, are investing increasingly on leveraging AI in communication activities to engage with and retain users. This article investigates how AI is used to monitor, analyze and ultilize user behavior data to enhance personalized content experiences in digital environments. Research results show that in addition to the benefits that AI brings such as enhancing user experience and marketing communication effectiveness for organizations, the application of AI in content personalization also takes its toll on privacy, the "filter bubble" phenomenon, and ethical issues related to transparency and fairness. To ensure trust and sustainable development, the article emphasizes the responsible and transparent use of AI as well as maintaining compliance with data protection laws.

The relationship between US Presidents and the press is complex, undergoing many fluctuations throughout its historical process, especially in the 20th century. Therefore, this is an issue that needs to be studied and clarified, contributing to enhancing understanding between the two countries and enriching the knowledge base of press, communication, and politics.

Abstract: The strong development of social media poses requirements as well as establishes premises and conditions for the innovation process of oral propaganda and the activities of propagandists. One of the manifestations of innovation is the emergence and development of online methods and the rational combination of online and offline modes, thereby enabling oral propaganda to innovate more in terms of methods. The idea of taking advantages of information technology and social media to form online oral propaganda methods is posing issues in understanding the trajectory, methods of innovation in oral propaganda, impact of this innovation process on the activities of propagandists, information security, information orientation, management of propagandist activities, policies of use and recruitment of dedicated propagandists for oral propaganda work.

The challenge for communication professionals is to understand their online behavior, understand the context, the influencing factors on the online platform in order to provide them with different experiences amidst a sea of information and create long-term value for both sides.

Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, qualities of revolutionary journalists, cultural journalists
During his lifetime, Ho Chi Minh always regarded the press as a frontline of the revolutionary struggle. Therefore, he believed that journalists were revolutionary soldiers, and their pens and papers were their sharp weapons. Ho Chi Minh emphasized: "For those of us who write newspapers, the pen is a sharp weapon, and the article is a revolutionary leaflet to inspire the masses to unite in the struggle against both old and new colonialism, imperialism (especially the American imperial) to fight for national independence, social progress, and world peace". To fulfil this mission, journalists must be revolutionary soldiers. This requires journalists to possess the qualities of revolutionary cadres, not fearing hardship or sacrifice, dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to serving the Fatherland and the people.
