Our Party has always defined democracy as the objective and motivation for the country’s growth during the process of leading the revolution. Democracy at grassroots units, in particular, is a necessary condition for people to advance their mastery in all aspects of social life. The 13th Party Congress’s Resolution emphasized the motto: “People know, people discuss, people execute, people supervise, people benefit”. It shows that our Party is always innovative in thoughts and actions in order to be more responsive to the country’s specific situation.

He accumulated and promoted all quintessence of national culture and the times, East and West, tradition and modernity, courage and humanity, greatness and simplicity. He is an infinite source of inspiration for national, social, class and human liberation. Also, he is a never-ending inspiration for writers, poets, journalists, artists in many different forms of journalism and arts.

The cultural and artistic guidelines of the Communist Party of Viet Nam in the movements of the people's democratic revolutionary era
The expansion of the mass movement in all social movements under the leadership of the proletarian party is the most notable historical feature of the people's democratic revolutionary era. The birth and development of a new culture and art in Viet Nam during the people's democratic revolution was associated with the fight for national independence and reunification. Recognizing the Party's leadership role in the process of building a new culture and art during progressive revolutionary resistance wars has created conditions for the harmonious development of the people's culture and art.

Abstract: In the fight against corruption and negativity, the press and public opinion play a special role. It contributes to detecting and fighting against corruption and negative effects; reflecting, advising, suggesting and recommending to handle and supervise the implementation of functional agencies. It also propagates, encourages and mobilizes the strength of all people to participate in the fight against corruption, thereby building people's faith in the Party's leadership and the regime's superiority. The article focuses on clarifying the relationship and role of the press and public opinion in building people's trust as well as proposes solutions to promote this role in the current anti-corruption activities of our country.

Abstract: Ho Chi Minh's cultural philosophy is a system of scientific, revolutionary and theoretical viewpoints on culture and the construction of Vietnamese culture. It resulted from creative application and development of Marxism-Leninism into the specific conditions of Vietnam. It inherited and developed the nation's traditional values while acquiring humanity's cultural essence. This is a heritage of tremendous value both theoretically and practically for Vietnam's revolution. In this article, the author analyzes the essence of Ho Chi Minh's cultural philosophy and clarifies certain fundamental orientations of Vietnamese Communist Party on building an advanced culture imbued with the cultural identity in current conditions.

A look at the History and Application of Critical Theory
Abstract: Researchers who supported the idea of critical theory based their argument on the assumption that there is always a need for criticism in order to promote changes in society. The ultimate goal of critical theory, rather than predicting, explaining, or understanding social phenomenon, is to point out problems and pushing the decision of transformation. Critical theory assumed that the phenomenon is already existed and the inequality can only be addressed by reorganizing the society. This theory is inherently influenced by Marxism and the analytical ideas of Karl Marx. Although the researching process still involves the action of observing, analyzing, but the core idea of critical theory, as its name suggested, is to pursue changes through criticizing. There are six key concepts of this theory: text, meaning, culture, polysemy, hegemony, and ideology. It is because of its diversity that critical theory has very high applicability in the field of social studies and communication. This article aims to present an overview of the development history of critical theory and one of its outstanding applications – reader response theory.

Abstract: Nowadays, big data strongly affects all aspects of social life. It profoundly changes the way humans exist daily and hourly. The article makes some predictions about the negative impacts of the data era on socio-political issues such as the risk of data monopoly and digital dictatorship, liberty loss, mass unemployment, personalized discrimination, and biological inequality. These consequences never appeared in previous societies, so there is a need for distinctive solutions and humanity’s unity.

Abstract: During the development process, the philosophy has been shaped and developed, imbued with the guidelines and strategies for training and fostering cadres of the Party and State as well as in accordance with learners and specific conditions of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) throughout historical periods. The article gives an overview of the HCMA's philosophy of training and fostering in recent years. Moreover, it proposes some recommendations to thoroughly grasp this philosophy in HCMA training and fostering programs today.

This article focuses on the study of employment policies, housing, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for workers in Singapore, drawing lessons for crafting policies for Vietnamese workers today.
Traditional and modern family values pursued by young adults in the current context (A study of students in Hanoi)
Abstract: On analyzing survey data among 260 student participants related to their perspectives on marriage and family values, this article elucidates the traditional and modern family values that young people support and aspire to in the current context. The research results show that the desire to marry and start a family remains a prevalent trend among students. The majority of students choose to selectively embrace positive traditional values from Vietnamese families while tending to reject outdated values. Furthermore, the younger generation also adopts modern family values that align with the evolving characteristics and trends in society.
