Factors Influencing the Role of Press in Cultural and Ideological Field
The globalization of international economics has extended its influence to other fields, increasing the relationship and interdependence among countries and bringing both opportunities and challenges for each of the countries. On the one hand, globalization brings opportunities and conditions for Vietnam and other countries to develop information technology, telecommunications, commerce and facilitates cultural exchange and ideological interaction. On the other hand, the cultural and ideological field suffers the strongest influence from globalization and international integration. In such context, under the brilliant leadership of the Party, the press has played the increasingly important role of the forward soldiers in the cultural and ideological front. However, the press has to shield difficulty and challenge, which is equivalent to their role.
