Principles for Researching and Proposing Solutions to Manage Information and Communication on Social Media in Viet Nam
In the current context of information society in Viet Nam, social media has become a means for quick, timely and diversified information. According to the Institute for Information and Communication Strategy (Ministry of Information and Communication), 360 active social media networks by domestic organizations and enterprises are licensed. Although these social media networks make positive contribution to the development of the country, they also come with complicated consequences. Therefore, the management of information and communication on social media has become a challenge to policymakers and authorities in Viet Nam.

Abstract: State management of the press plays a crucial role in orienting, organizing, and supervising journalistic activities to ensure that the press fulfills its functions effectively. In the new era of development characterized by breakthroughs in digital technology, globalization, and significant shifts in audience information consumption behavior amid the vigorous growth of the market economy, state management of the press in Vietnam faces both great opportunities and numerous challenges. While many studies have discussed opportunities, this article focuses on analyzing the key challenges and emerging issues confronting state management of the press today and proposes several solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of press governance in this new era of development.

Digital transformation in higher education: analysis of the current situation and solutions for applying AI in students’ learning activities at Academy of Journalism and Communication
Abstract: Today, digital transformation in higher education has become a strategic priority. However, due to varying conditions, students’ use of artificial intelligence (AI) mainly remains at a basic level of learning activities. At the same time, concerns have been raised about the risks of limiting independent thinking and fostering overreliance on technology. This article analyzes the current situation of using AI in students’ learning activities, based on a survey of 624 students at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, to propose optimal solutions. The results reveal the level of awareness and usage of AI in learning, as well as the benefits of its application. The paper also suggests specific measures to maximize AI’s advantages and promote responsible technology use, thereby advancing a learner-centered and holistic educational model.

In response to this profound transformation, the application of modern technologies in the training and professional development of journalism and communication personnel in Vietnam has become an urgent and strategic requirement for the sustainable modernization of the national journalism sector. This article provides an overview of AI, Big Data, and IoT, analyzes and evaluates the current state of their application in journalism and communication training in Vietnam, and proposes feasible solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training in the context of accelerated digital transformation.
