The Political Theory Journal would like to highlight the introduction of the book at the Launching Ceremony presented by Prof., Dr. TA NGOC TAN, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council. The title of the article is named by the Editorial Board.

Political Theory - The 12th National Congress of the Party requested a study on the ruling Party and the ruling contents of the Party. The ruling contents of the Communist Party of Vietnam mean the activities and works the Party is able to or needs to do with a view to using and promoting the position and power stipulated by the Constitution so as to affect and govern the State and society in order to show that it deserves the position and responsibility of the ruling Party. The ruling and leadership contents of the Party have similarities and differences. Thus, a clear differentiation is required to avoid imposing all the leadership contents on the ruling contents of the Party and preventing the Party from making excuses or taking on and intervening incorrectly in the State’s works.

Managing sustainable social development in the field of population and development
Abstract: Population is identified as an important field as well as a goal, a strategy which is both urgent and long-term. Managing social development in population is considered one of the focuses to solve social problems towards sustainable development, making the most of the population potential while limiting the unfavorable effects of demographic changes in policy formulation and national development strategies. The article focuses on analyzing the relationship between population and sustainable development, Vietnam's population strategy to 2030 towards sustainable development and Vietnam’s population management from a sustainable development approach. Thereby, it clarifies the requirements for the transformation of population policy in accordance with the current population change practice.
Advantages, disadvantages and challenges in learning and teaching political theory online at the Academy of Journalism and Communication today
Abstract: Since the end of December 2019, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a strong and profound impact in every aspect of social life, including education. In the context of the serious outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, online training of subjects in general and political theory subjects in particular is considered an effective solution. To adapt to the new conditions, the Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC) implemented online teaching and learning. The article mentions advantages as well as difficulties and challenges when applying online training in political theory subjects for students at AJC. It also proposes some basic solutions to improve the quality of online political theory education at AJC in the context that the Covid-19 pandemic has not been completely controlled.

Abstract: This article criticizes several viewpoints for contrasting Ho Chi Minh’s thought with Marxism-Leninism, which aim to negate Marxism- Leninism and the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Viet Nam at heart. With the purpose of exposing the deceptions, the author reaffirms the revolutionary and scientific nature of Ho Chi Minh Thought and proposes solutions to defeat all plots and deceptions of hostile forces aiming to distort and oppose Ho Chi Minh Thought.

Abstract: President Ho Chi Minh practiced the complete transition of Vietnamese patriotism from tradition to modernity - patriotism based on the viewpoint of the working class - patriotism connected with socialism. Patriotism in the socialist revolutionary epoch completely inherits and develops the contents of traditional patriotism to a new higher degree in terms of quality. Among these contents, developing the spirit of national solidarity in national construction and defense was always his top priority. Great national unity is a revolutionary approach. Achieving great national unity is the Vietnamese revolution's long-term plan. Ho Chi Minh repeatedly affirmed: Solidarity, solidarity, great solidarity/ Success, success, great success. To achieve this, he offered a perspective on building a great unity of the whole people based on harmonious social relations, collaboration, and mutual development among social classes during the revolutionary period of gaining national independence.

Abstract: The national innovative startup ecosystem is gradually improving, creating a connection between the community and the whole society and promoting the country's socio-economic development. Within that ecosystem, universities play an important role in providing, connecting, and fostering innovative entrepreneurship. In recent years, a number of universities in Hanoi have been at the forefront in building models to support start-up activities and have created a good environment to nurture and develop students’ startup ideas. From these experiences, it is possible to propose some solutions to promote creative start-ups at the Academy of Journalism and Communication in the coming time.

This article focuses on exploiting the core values of K. Marx's wage policy and orienting the application to improve the management of wages and salaries in Vietnam.

Abstract: In recent years, implementing and carrying out the missions stated in the Conclusion No. 16-KL/TW dated February 14, 2012 by the Politburo about "Strategy for the Development of External Information from 2011 to 2020", along with excellent hosting international events, Vietnam’s external information affairs have played an important role in implementing foreign policies and guidelines as well as promoting the process of Vietnam’s integration, enhancing Vietnam's position in the international arena. Though cooperation and development are big trends, the world still face lots of obstacles and challenges when entering the third decade of the 21st century. This context has created intertwined advantages and disadvantages, requiring our Party and State to make appropriate innovations in external information via the organization of foreign affair events in the coming time.
