Abstract: Vietnam's higher education has been deeply integrating to better adapt to the rapid changes of the times. In that context, the policy of university autonomy issued by the Party and State is considered a top priority, in line with the development of the global education system. However, while the University Council is very popular in Western countries, the application of this model in Vietnam still faces many difficulties despite having specific regulations in the law. This article is aimed at identifying models of University Councils in some countries and pointing out the difficulties for universities in Vietnam when implementing this new governance model.

Abstract: On the basis of analyzing religious beliefs, scientific beliefs and characteristics of Vietnamese students, the article has argued a number of solutions to build and strengthen the trust of students in the country today. These are: renewing the teaching content of Marxism - Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought and our Party's policies; improving training quality, requiring students to grasp the opportunities and challenges in the current process of national construction and defense; educating students to always act by the people and serve the people.

Although it plays a vital role in the training process and has received much attention, it still has many limitations and has not met the practical requirements. The study of this issue will help to find solutions to improve the effectiveness of the student counseling and support activities at AJC.

Abstract: Since the end of December 2019, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a strong and profound impact in every aspect of social life, including education. In the context of the serious outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, online training of subjects in general and political theory subjects in particular is considered an effective solution. To adapt to the new conditions, the Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC) implemented online teaching and learning. The article mentions advantages as well as difficulties and challenges when applying online training in political theory subjects for students at AJC. It also proposes some basic solutions to improve the quality of online political theory education at AJC in the context that the Covid-19 pandemic has not been completely controlled.

Abstract: The national innovative startup ecosystem is gradually improving, creating a connection between the community and the whole society and promoting the country's socio-economic development. Within that ecosystem, universities play an important role in providing, connecting, and fostering innovative entrepreneurship. In recent years, a number of universities in Hanoi have been at the forefront in building models to support start-up activities and have created a good environment to nurture and develop students’ startup ideas. From these experiences, it is possible to propose some solutions to promote creative start-ups at the Academy of Journalism and Communication in the coming time.

Abstract: In the context of contemporary higher education, competition among universities is becoming increasingly fierce. When the Ministry of Education and Training tends to increase autonomy for universities, enhancing communication activities helps higher education institutions improve their reputation and enrollment efficiency. However, in Vietnam, research on communication in education is still limited, especially in the field of higher education, while this one is quite rich and diverse in other countries. The article presents an overview of domestic and foreign research on the communication activities of universities, thereby providing new research directions to help guide communication activities for educational institutions in Vietnam in the future.
