With this view in mind, for the last several years, the Academy of Journalism and Communication has organized many scientific activities for the students and achieved important outcomes. However, to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of student research, it is important for the Academy to continue the innovation and implement practical solutions synchronously.

Applying AI, Big Data, and IoT in the training and professional development of journalism and communication personnel in Vietnam today: opportunities and challenges

Abstract: In the context of the rapid development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, journalism and communication have evolved beyond mere information dissemination to become a digital technology-driven industry deeply influenced by scientific and technological advancements, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT). In response to this profound transformation, the application of modern technologies in the training and professional development of journalism and communication personnel in Vietnam has become an urgent and strategic requirement for the sustainable modernization of the national journalism sector. This article provides an overview of AI, Big Data, and IoT, analyzes and evaluates the current state of their application in journalism and communication training in Vietnam, and proposes feasible solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training in the context of accelerated digital transformation.
