Global and regional context influencing Vietnam's mindset of multilateral diplomacy during international integration period
Abstract: In 1986, Vietnam embarked on a process of Doi Moi (national renewal), starting with a renewal of mindset, gradually extending to other areas of social life including diplomacy. Over the past 40 years, from the initial challenging steps, under the influence of many factors, particularly the international context, new perspectives and thoughts on diplomacy, especially multilateral diplomacy, have gradually formed, developed, and proven their legitimacy, wisdom, and practicality.

Reading Legal and Political Theory E-books among Young People: Current Situation
In the 21st century - the era of digital technology, along with the rapid development of science and technology, the emergence of social networking platforms and smart, convenient and smaller audiovisual media as well as the explosion of the global Internet, reading e-books instead of conventional paper books is becoming more and more popular. Many people are of the opinion that this is a revolution in reading culture as readers, being at a certain location, with handy smart devices and access to the Internet are able to read any books they want without having to go to the bookstore or library. This brings a good prospect with many advantages, saving time for readers. This trend is in line with the policy of the Party and State “strengthening the management and development of various forms of communication and information on the Internet”(1) including e-book publishing. In the documents of the 13th National Party Congress, our Party emphasized the need to “improve the quality, ensure the security and safety of the information, press, Internet and publishing systems; strengthen the capacity of cyberspace management”(2). The article provides an overview of the current situation of young people's reading of legal and political theory books in the form of digital format, thereby making some suggestions to increase reading this type of book among young people.

Hostile forces are increasingly advocating activities against the Party and State in cyberspace with a special focus on students - the nation’s future owners and frequent Internet users. Therefore, it is a top priority to secure the Party’s ideological foundation, effectively combat wrong and hostile viewpoints, and build up “resistance” for students against malicious information in cyberspace.

On the basis of analyzing religious beliefs, scientific beliefs and characteristics of Vietnamese students, the article argues for a number of solutions to build and strengthen the trust of students in the country today. These are: renewing the teaching content of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought and our Party's policies; improving training quality, requiring students to grasp the opportunities and challenges in the current process of national construction and defense; educating students to always act by the people and serve the people.

The Political Theory Journal would like to highlight the introduction of the book at the Launching Ceremony presented by Prof., Dr. TA NGOC TAN, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council. The title of the article is named by the Editorial Board.
